Mesmer-izing.
The word for "Being awed out of your reality" COMES FROM SOMEONE PRACTICING REIKI.
The word mesmerize comes from the last name of 18th century German physician Franz Mesmer (illustration below) who believed that all people and objects are pulled together by a strong magnetic force, later called mesmerism.
Voilà. I rest my case that this is a universal dormant ability within every human.
I taught 130+ people in the course of Reiki School which ran for 18 months, and every single one of them mastered their energy, and are able to help others at the end of my program.
