No Feeling is Final

The book Letters to a young poet by Rainer Maria Rilke stitched me up every year of my twenties. Those words from another poem have become a lifeline to making it to the other end.

I saw those inner friends written at the end of Jojo Rabbit last week, paired with a German version of David Bowie’s Heroes. It was magical.

We might feel alone, but there’s always relations, human contacts, alive and past, to help us persevere on our path.
